Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Construction Manager to oversee major construction projects at LAX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a proven record of delivering large infrastructure projects on time and within budget. This is a high-impact role that requires leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Description

  • Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects at LAX, including planning, coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Oversee project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and consultants, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and reports to keep all stakeholders informed of progress and any potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including airport authorities, government agencies, and community representatives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to junior staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Extensive experience in airport construction or other highly regulated environments is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
