Akkodis is seeking a Technical QA Analyst II / Compliance QA Analyst for a contract role with a client located in Los Angeles, CA 90064
Pay Rate: $70-75/hr.
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90064 (Hybrid)
Duration: 1 year contract
Technical QA Analyst II
As a Compliance QA Analyst, you will own the QA process for a team that supports one or multiple products in the 1P compliance testing space. You will be one of the primary liaisons between teams/central OPs groups and 3rd party vendors conducting test efforts. Additionally, you will partner with your team to arrive at more efficient solutions to everyday problems and improve delivery. You will also be tasked to work with other QA professionals, often remotely to get your work completed.
Impact/Scope
Your execution of quality activities (testing, risk assessment) impacts the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of your team and closely related teams. You have specific recommendations for improvements on the development process and quality of the products you work on.
Complexity
You solve complex problems by innovating on best practices and implement new ways of approaching and mitigating quality risks.
Supervision/Oversight
You need little instruction on day-to-day work, and you are able to operate independently, while also instructing junior QA and external testers in their day-to-day tasks.
Craft Knowledge
Your skills show expertise in one area, and you are able to deploy a variety of craft elements to solve increasingly complex problems.
Required Qualifications
• Experience designing and executing test plans for both functional and compliance QA
• Experience with 1st Party requirements in the console space on Sony and Microsoft
• Experience executing tests on TRCs/XRs
• Deep understanding of the nuances around 1P requirements and changes
• Previous experience launching products onto console and mobile platforms
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to increase compliance awareness and predictability
• Experience managing components of a defect database.
• Experience tasking remote testers and providing feedback on effectiveness.
• Experience working embedded with developers and content creators.
• Experience creating custom reports on test coverage and defect data.3+ years Software Quality Assurance Experience, with success leading testing efforts on a team.
Desired Qualifications
• Development experience across several platforms; mobile, console, and PC.
