Job Description DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The person selected will: Provide leadership in the development and maintenance of a relevant community college curriculum in Administration of Justice; Provide instruction in Law Enforcement and Corrections Associate and Certificate programs; Prepare complete course syllabi and outline, and work on articulation with local colleges and universities; Adapt instructional techniques to accommodate varied learning styles and abilities to support student success; Teach day, evening, and/or weekend assignments; Participate in district/college/division committees as required to maintain and improve the instructional program; Establish and participate in the activities of the Administration of Justice Advisory Committee; Be committed to the participatory governance process. Required Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate, by the final filing date, must possess the minimum qualifications for instructors in Administration of Justice at California Community Colleges: Any associate degree and six years of full-time occupational experience in the related field OR Any bachelor's degree and two years of full-time occupational experience in the related field OR The equivalent OR Possess a California Community life credential in the subject matter area.
