Application Analyst (Remote) - Willow Ambulatory and Specialty Pharmacy Implementation

Summary:

The Application Analyst is responsible for implementing and supporting applications and data integrations managed by Information Services (IS). This role involves providing technical and application support, triaging and troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system integrity and efficiency. The analyst will handle system analysis, design, configuration, testing, documentation, and training to ensure optimal application performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation:

Partner with business and clinical operations to document workflows for application implementation and upgrades.

Analyze system compatibility and configure applications according to operational and technical requirements.

Collaborate with project teams and vendors to develop specifications for assigned areas.

Support product rollout and integration with related systems, including testing and validating scripts.

Application Configuration & Support:

Document software changes, new features, and enhancements.

Configure applications, analyze new requirements, and propose solutions.

Perform advanced data analysis, troubleshoot problems, and document findings.

Interface Validation:

Test and validate developed solutions and application interfaces following departmental standards.

Create test scripts to ensure thorough validation and smooth implementation of changes.

Application Maintenance:

Implement configuration changes to production applications.

Analyze and resolve problems, reviewing logs and reports to ensure system functionality.

Maintain system profiles, write and update test scripts, and enhance product knowledge as changes are made.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in application analysis and support.

Skills and Knowledge:

Working knowledge of data and application development lifecycles.

Familiarity with healthcare operations, HL7, XML messaging standards, and system integration.

Strong prioritization, verbal, and written communication skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
