Position Summary
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Senior Director Patient Care Services is responsible for the Women's and Children's Services of the hospital. In accordance with agreed business plans and services development objectives, identifies and develops opportunities for growth of the care delivery system. Works collaboratively with the department and hospital leadership teams, as well as the service's physicians, and outside agencies. Ensures smooth delivery of services, performs a wide variety of administrative and fiscal functions including planning, budgeting, interfacing with the public, leading and managing personnel, marketing and participating in purchases / acquisitions. This position oversees L&D, Mom/Baby, NICU, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and High-Risk Pediatrics.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
- Master's Degree in Business Administration or Master's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration required.
Minimum Experience/Skills:
- Knowledge of current trends in health care, experience in quality improvement and health care regulation, customer service, financial management and productivity.
- A minimum of 4 years progressive management/business experience.
- Three to five years acute care experience in L&D.
License/Certificates/Credentials: Current, active and clear, California Registered Nursing License
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged, extensive standing/walking.
- Lift/position up to 50 lbs.
- Push/pull up to 50 lbs of force.
- Manual dexterity and mobility, computer screen, frequent visualization, ability to move quickly.
Vision Requirements: Ability to adjust vision sufficiently to perform position accountabilities.

Pay Range: $156,000 - $249,600
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience Calculated based on a full time position
