Employment Type: Contract/Onsite
Pay rate: $79-$83/hr. DOE
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage success metrics and leading indicators that provide a holistic understanding of performance of key M&C initiatives.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, data collection processes, and dashboards for operational reporting and exploratory analysis, and provide training to empower stakeholders to self-serve for Client brand health and reputation KPIs, internal/external communications, and Client for Education.
- Prepare and present reports and dashboards that measure performance for internal employees and external communications (social media, earned media).
- Measure the impact of marketing activities using advanced analytical approaches to help inform strategies, plans, and tactics on an on-going basis.
- Establish and promote best practices for reporting strategies, data visualization, data interpretation and data integrity.
- Communicate and influence across all levels of the organization.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations in a clear and concise way to non-technical audiences, both in oral and written presentations.
- Identify opportunities for developing new data sources, and provide technical leadership around making those data sources high-quality and broadly available.
- Pursue data quality, troubleshoot data anomalies, validate data accuracy, and drive issues to resolution.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders across different teams and businesses on cross-functional projects or analytics capabilities.
Skills:
- 7+ years of experience working in a data analytics role supporting marketing and web.
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Economics or related field; Master's or PhD preferred.
- Fluency in data analysis, including defining KPIs, statistical and predictive modeling concepts, descriptive statistics, customer segmentation, and funnel analysis.
- Advanced technical proficiency in SQL, Databricks, Qlik Sense, Tableau, and GitHub.
- Hands-on expertise with Python and statistical modeling techniques (e.g. regression, classification, time series) to answer a wide range of measurement questions.
- Familiarity with market mix modeling and multi-touch attribution is a plus. Hands-on experience with web analytics and clickstream data to support event tracking and instrumentation (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Segment, marketing attribution).
- Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to consistently produce accurate and error-free work even under tight deadlines.
- Ability to tell stories clearly and concisely with data, and how they drive business outcomes.
- Demonstrates strong business acumen and curiosity.
- Ability to lead through influence across all levels and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding communications skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and end-to-end quantitative thinking.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and deadlines.
