We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to work for a company that offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development within a specialized banking sector.

Your specific duties will include:

Process invoices (including branch and department allocations), complete a check run at least two times per week, distribute checks and maintain vendor files. Collect Form W-9s for all vendors and code the vendors that should receive a 1099-NEC or1099-Misc form at year end.

Fixed Assets - use Accounting Policy to determine whether an item paid through AP could be capitalized, determine the asset type, add new assets to software, assist in running depreciation monthly and balance total net fixed assets to general ledger each month.

Post general ledger journal entries as requested.

Specific qualifications for the position include:

A college-level course in accounting or finance preferred; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Fixed Assets Experience.

Banking Preferred.

Pay Rate Range: $27.00- 34.00 an hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
