Job description

Job Summary VSolvithas animmediateopeningforanOperationsSupport Specialist to supportourNaval Surface WarfareCenter (NSWC) Corona Division customer in Norco, California. The Operations Support Specialist is requires working collaboratively with government personnel to provide support to various tasks throughout the Performance Assessment department in NSWC Corona. Primarily escorting uncleared visitors onboard NSWC Corona and it's meeting spaces and assisting with space optimization. As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), and staying focused on the assigned tasks including company meetings, and completing other tasks as assigned. Responsibilities Assist our customer with escorting of uncleared personnel in cleared spaces.
Identifywaystoincreaseprocessefficiency andprovideoptimizationrecommendationstothecustomer.
Prior to events,plan, setup,operationallytest, verify, coordinate,and supportmeetingsand events,andprepare the space/equipment for the next meeting/event.
Assistthedepartmentwithscheduling,usersupportanddailyoperations.
SupportthedailyoperationsofthePerformanceAssessmentdepartment.
Requirements High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
Excellentinterpersonaland communication skills, withtheabilitytocollaborate effectively acrossdifferent departments.
Demonstratedbasiccomputerknowledge required
MustbeaU.S.Citizen
Must be willing to work on site in Norco, California
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance
Preferred Qualifications Mechanicalaptitude
UnderstandingofVideoTeleconferencingequipmentandoperation
Understandingof MicrosoftofficesuiteandsoftwaretoincludeSharePointandPowerBI
