Role: IT Business Application Specialist - CLM

Location: Oakland, CA (Onsite)

Duration: 6+ Months (Possible Contract-to-Hire)

Job Overview: The Client is seeking an innovative and resourceful IT Business Application Specialist to support the implementation, administration, and maintenance of the Behavioral Health Department's Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system. The role involves working independently and with teams to deliver effective solutions in both development and production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and enhance application specifications to meet departmental needs.

Monitor application functionality for compliance, audit reporting, and workflow efficiency.

Customize workflows, templates, and automate processes within the CLM system.

Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in collaboration with Business Analysts and vendors.

Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications for application enhancements.

Act as a liaison between business, operations, and technical teams throughout the application lifecycle.

Manage change requests and generate reports/dashboards on contract status and performance.

Develop and conduct training for new application releases or changes.

Test and evaluate applications, coordinate user acceptance testing, and document defects.

Assist with system navigation, functionality best practices, and maintain technical documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent (or 2 years of IT-related experience).

At least 1 year of professional IT experience.

Familiarity with CLM systems such as Conga, Agiloft, DocuSign CLM, or similar platforms.
