Title: IT SAP EHS Functional Analyst

Direct Placement

Salary: $122K - $194k /year

Location: Oakland, CA

Job Type: Hybrid, Onsite 3 days a week

As an IT SAP EHS Functional Analyst, Expert, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our SAP Enterprise Health and Safety Delivery organization. You will develop IT solutions for Health and Safety functions, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.

Responsibilities:

Provide expert consulting in SAP ERP Systems.

Responsible for solution design and implementation involving SAP Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S).

Lead SAP functional teams and review deliverables by SAP consultants.

Analyze end-to-end complex business processes and information needs.

Partner with business teams, technical analysts, architecture and strategy organizations.

Evaluate and document alternatives for complex business problems.

Responsible for SAP RICEFW objects development in the work management area.

Prepare requirements document, As-Is, To-Be processes, and identify gaps.

Design system processes, build prototypes, prepare functional specifications, and test plans.

Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and support user acceptance testing.

Provide SAP subject matter expertise and ensure best practices are adopted.

Responsible for overall SAP solution and SAP interfaces.

Qualifications:

BA/BS in Computer Science/ Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 7 years of designing, configuring, and developing complex solutions using SAP Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) modules.

Proficient in writing requirements documents, and functional specifications, and preparing business process flows.

Experience with designing new enhancements, reports, and interfaces with non-SAP systems.

Strong understanding of ERP interrelationships and dependencies of related modules and systems.

Desired Qualifications:

SAP S/4 EH&S implementation and/or support experience.

Experience in SAP EH&S Cloud solutions (e.g., SAP EHS workplace, SAP Asset Manager, SAP Field Service Management).

Utility Health and Safety experience.

Familiarity with SOX compliance, regulatory compliance, and operational/disaster recovery.

SAP EH&S certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - Environment, Health, and Safety with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7).

Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP EAM, SAP MM, SAP HCM).

Understanding of SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), SAP Finance (FICO), SAP Human Capital Management (HCM), Success Factors, SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) SAP Project Systems (PS).
