Job description

Facilities Document Control Specialist This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered. The Facilities Document Control Specialist (FDCS) shall perform on-site document control services for Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton (NHCP) Facilities Management Department. This support will include but is not limited to storing, managing, and tracking important project documents like project plans, blueprints, vendor contracts, drawings, and preparing charts, graphs, and presentations. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Facilities Document Control Specialist: $75,000 - $80,000 Pay commensurate with experience. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Facilities Document Control Specialist Responsibilities Include: Performs data entry tasks when project documents need updates including converting paper documents to an electronic format. Organize and maintain Facilities Management Department document filing systems in accordance with Government standards. Analyze document control procedures and report to COR or Facilities Management Department leadership with recommendations for improvement or discussion. Manage the document database and performs self-audits of the document control system to ensure compliance with standards. Review documentation for errors and incomplete information. Use DMLLS software to maintain the organizations documents as required by DHA and NHCP policies. Performs other job-related duties as assigned Facilities Document Control Specialist Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Minimum of a High School Diploma required. 5 years of experience in administrative responsibilities with a primary focus on document management. Extensive knowledge in MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe. Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Common Access Card (CAC) and Installation and system access. Proficient in document management software and MS Office Suite. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Capability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
