Job Summary Job Summary The Oxnard Adult School, part of the Oxnard Union High School District (OUHSD), is actively recruiting for a Part-time Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Program Director and Instructor. ABOUT THIS POSTING: We are seeking a dedicated CNA Program Director to oversee and manage all aspects of our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program. This role is responsible for the organization, administration, continuous evaluation, planning, and development of the program to ensure its overall success and effectiveness. Using the California State curriculum, the program prepares students for CNA certification through a blend of theoretical instruction and hands-on clinical experience at a local nursing home/long-term care facility. The CNA Program Director is responsible for: • Ensuring compliance with all state-mandated requirements for CNA training, including curriculum, schedules, and documentation. • Providing leadership and support for students and instructors to maintain high-quality instruction. • Continuously reviewing and refining the program to meet the evolving needs of students and industry standards. Days/Times: Schedule to be determined by the CNA Program Director in collaboration with the CNA Instructor (following CDPH guidelines) This position also qualifies for the CNA Instructor role, providing an opportunity to teach and guide students directly. Requirements / Qualifications Schedule: • Part-time, 4-5 hours per week • Flexible, morning or evening program • Direct program oversight and conduct administrative in-office hours • Additional hours are approved to meet with CNA Instructional staff a minimum of 2 hours per month.
