Job description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Sets up and operates plain or universal, horizontal, or vertical milling machines to perform machining operations such as compound angles and contours; boring compound angular holes; doing helical and spiral milling; serrating; and gear, spline, and keyway cutting to exacting tolerances. Selects, mounts, and aligns various specialized machine attachments and standard or improvised tooling; plans sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup; determines, sets, and adjusts speeds, feeds, and depth of cut; interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications; uses a variety of machinist hand tools and precision measuring instruments; makes standard shop computations; and measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points to Client out stock for machining. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Requires completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience. Exclude general, all-around machinists and operators who do not perform own setups or determine sequence of operations.
Will be supporting a large scale production assembly line.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Must be open to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Shifts
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
Ability to read blueprints/sketches or other engineering specifications.
Ability to use precision hand tools and measuring instruments.
Experience with robotics and CNC Machining.
Experience with precision measuring Instruments - Micrometers, Preset Torque tools, Reference inspection gauges, Dial indicators.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret security clearance.
Ability to work ANY shift- 4/10 1st or 2nd, 3/10 1st or 2nd.
Milling machining experience

Must have a valid driver's license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $28.00-$30.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
