Role Summary:
Rivian is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Mobile Service to help forward the goals of the broader team. At Rivian, we believe that the best service is one that the customer does not need to think about and continually complete the majority of repairs using Mobile Service, which is performing repairs at the customer's vehicle's location rather than having them come to us.

As a Technical Program Manager of Mobile Service Operations, you will help ensure that the business optimizes impact through sound operations and planning, and that Mobile Service is built to scale and enables the best service experience for our customers. This role will require exceptional cross functional interaction, a dynamic and resourceful leader with a sharp attention to detail, and experience in taking an analytical approach to problem solving. Additionally, this Technical Program Manager must be flexible, dependable, organized, proactive in initiating continuous improvement and have an ability to prioritize strategically. This role will require creativity, superb communication skills and a desire to support while continuously improve.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a passion for electric vehicles and sustainable transportation. This role will be responsible for managing complex technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, and will operate as an agent of support for our team members using Mobile Service vehicles in the field to support equipment troubleshooting, and ideation of our fleet.

Responsibilities:
Understand the 'why' behind each program strategy developed while simultaneously keeping an open mind to the reality in the field and using this information to train, coach and troubleshoot

Ensure change management process across Mobile Service vehicles with cross-functional partners

Ability to be supportive and available to the Field Service teams to capture adoption of programs and tools, offering coaching and solutions with your deep understanding of the programs and equipment available

Above average communication and organizational skills, both in person and with documentation for filed wide distribution

Able to identify gaps in knowledge by observing and a desire to engage and coach with a goal of continuous improvement

Partner with your leader, field teams and numerous program leads to share information from the field to improve processes

Ability to educate team members with the most up to date and often technical knowledge as it relates to Mobile Service

Remain agile to adjust focus as business needs evolve

Qualifications:
3-5+ years' experience in project management

Ability to work independently with limited general supervision and prioritize competing demands

Passion for working in a complex, fast-paced organization, and desire to own and refine key operational processes

Proven track record of executing multiple complex projects simultaneously from start to finish

Experience defining program requirements and using data-driven insights to determine improvements, priority, and path forward

Agile with an ability to re-prioritize as the business requires and execute effectively

Strong communication skills - clear, precise, and to the point with an ability to speak clearly. Listens and asks for clarification as needed, responds well to questions

Bachelor's degree preferred, open to equivalent work experience in Operations or related field and Program Management certification

Pay Disclosure:
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants: $125,000- $156,200 annually (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Bay Area, California Based Applicants: $135,800 - $169,800 annually (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
