Description:
Three to Five years experience in an analytical position utilizing database programs and spreadsheet software. Demonstrated experience in gathering, documenting, analyzing and drawing conclusions on data and information. Demonstrated experience in performing a variety of functions and handling programs, projects, and assignments. Candidate must demonstrate good oral and written communication skills. This position analyzes, codes, tests and documents moderately complex applications programs from detailed specifications. Incumbent may assist with preparing specifications from which programs will be written. -Demonstrates working knowledge of 2 (preferred) programming languages, report production, and database structures.Demonstrates working knowledge of software and hardware tools supporting primary system operations.Demonstrates knowledge of systems development, hardware/software and project methodology, preferred. Associates degree in a related field required. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred.

Education Requirement:
A. High School Diploma or Equivalent

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload:
Provide analytical support to review and process work order packages, secure material, and ensure thework is authorized to proceed for construction.
Research, analyze, interpret sophisticated data, and problem solve
Obtain project status, update and maintain the project tracking database, and work with the appropriateproject team member to help remove obstacles throughout the project s lifecycle.
Support project managers in tracking and reviewing in-flight projects with project team by participatingin job walks and monthly tactical meetings and ad-hoc project status meetings.
Provide data on status of projects and their requirements, clarify issues and ensure that Regionpersonnel receive the appropriate support for the successful completion of projects.
Verify, analyze, and update information in Primavera 6 (P6), SAP and Design Manager (DM) systemsas well as Excel.
Complete monthly reporting activities and support ad-hoc data requests.
Maintain a safety conscious work environment, by following Edison safety protocols and safe workpractices.

Desired Skills/Attributes:
The essentials
Two years of experience tracking and reporting project progress and timelines.
The preferred
Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Experience using P6 to track project progress.
Electric distribution experience.
