Position Description:
As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for providing support of the payroll process, including calculating wages, salaries, bonuses, and deductions. You will ensure that payroll is processed regularly, maintain compliance with tax laws and regulations, manage employee benefits and deductions, and update payroll records. Additionally, you will handle payroll inquiries, resolve discrepancies, prepare and distribute payroll reports and documentation, and manage administrative responsibilities. Your role is crucial in ensuring that team members are paid accurately and on time while maintaining strict compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:Provide support to the payroll department in order to accomplish all departmental objectives and operational tasks.

Understand and follow Applied Medical's Quality Systems (QS) per training.

Read, write, speak and comprehend English.

Understand and comply with safety rules and Company policies.

Process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions.

Perform interface of payroll data from SAP through UKG connection.

Input time off requests, such as vacation and sick leave for team members.

Monitor accuracy of interfacing data, identify errors, and reconcile payroll discrepancies.

Provide information to team members and managers on payroll matters.

Keep informed about changes in tax and deduction laws that apply to the payroll process.

Respond to verifications of employment and other requests for payroll information.

Process employment status changes on UKG/SAP.

Performance Objectives:

First 30 days

Focus on learning about the company and your role.

Complete all company and department-specific standard operating procedures (SOPs) and trainings.

Learn about your team structure and the individuals who are part of it.

Discover the systems that are used in the company.

Understand the processes that the company follows.

Within 60 Days

Respond to outside agencies with verifications of employment and other requests for payroll information.

Process time sheet corrections in a timely manner for bi-weekly payroll processing.

Input time off requests, such as vacation and sick leave for team members.

Complete all SAP and UKG trainings for time sheet accuracy.

After 90 days to one year

Apply strong communication and analytical skills to support and assist team members and other Departments.

Perform a variety of administrative functions and other related duties as required.

Monitor accuracy of interfacing data, identify errors, and reconcile payroll discrepancies.

Process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions.

Keep informed about changes in tax and deduction laws that apply to the payroll process.

Position Requirements:
This position requires the following skills and attributes:

Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Read, write, speak and comprehend English (bilingual is a plus).

Strong communication and analytical skills.

Preferred:
The following skills and attributes are preferred:

Knowledge of SAP and UK.

Payroll experience preferred.
