Position Description:
Behind the scenes of cost-effective healthcare, there's a Pricing Administrator! If you have an eye for detail, enjoy working with data, and want to contribute to fair pricing for hospitals and surgery centers, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Price Management: Maintain appropriate contract pricing for hospitals and surgery centers in Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) system by researching pricing discrepancies.
Contract Accuracy Specialist: Assist with management of contracts and customers within assigned Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) portfolio by creating error-free contracts.
Responsive: Respond quickly to pricing inquiries from customers and field representatives in a fast-paced environment to maintain customer satisfaction.
Verify Compliance: Assist with analytics to determine contract compliance and participation levels by recommending accurate price points.
Performance Objectives:
Within your first 30-days:
Have full access to all necessary SAP codes.
Have full access to the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) portal.
Understand and know Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents.
Familiarize themselves with file locations.
Within 60-days:
Prepare price files in SAP.
Run impact reports for the field team.
Load and edit pricing in SAP with limited assistance.
Have an understanding of field structure and their roles.
Begin communicating pricing information to the field.
Begin actively participating in team meetings.
Within 90-days to one year:
Load and modify pricing in SAP without any assistance.
Communicate accurate pricing information to the field team without any assistance.
Perform analytics and make accurate pricing recommendations to the field.
Able to accept or deny customer submissions within the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) portal.
Take on various pricing projects.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar.
More than two years of experience in operations, contracting, pricing administration, or a customer relations role.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including ability to work with pivot tables and complete v-lookups.
Ability to prioritize daily workload in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
Highly detailed with superb follow-up skills.
An enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic.
Ability to provide thorough and timely responses to a high volume of daily emails and phone calls.
Extremely organized with strong time-management skills and the ability and willingness to meet deadlines.
Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with others and gain trust from team members in the ability to cooperate and collaborate.
