Pay $35-40/hr Paid Weekly

8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday

Must have facilities, health and safety experience. Company of 30 employees so required to wear lots of hats.

Education and Training: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Skills and Experience: +6 years of facility and safety experience, Strong proficiency in Office 365. Strong time management and people skills, flexibility, and multitasking abilities. Experience with safety procedures and OHSA policies. Ability to handle a fast-paced growth environment.

General Description

Management and coordination of all company office activities, including but not limited to, on-site facilities upkeep and maintenance. Safety Coordinator, responsible for overseeing all activities within the office and assure that they comply with Cal/OHSA policies

Key Responsibilities

- Manage all aspects of the facility. Duties include but are not limited to:

- Maintenance of general office equipment.

- Communications with janitorial services, property management, alarm company and project manager consultants.

- Ordering any supplies and PPE needed that relate to facilities and safety.

- Schedule services needed for facility maintenance and cleaning.

- Support IT with general needs such as, computer & equipment allocation, security system controls and alarm system controls.

- Responsible for the planning, implementing, and overseeing of the company's Injury and Illness Prevention Program. Assuring that the company complies and adheres to OHSA guidelines to reduce work-related injuries and illnesses. Main duties include but are not limited to:

- Plan and implement OHSA policies and programs

- Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics

- Prepare and implement emergency plans and procedures

- Oversee decontamination practices and assure they are in compliance with all applicable standards. (ISO 13485, OHSA)

- Oversee all hazardous waste removal activities

- Educate new employees of all safety policies and practices.
