Interviews will occur as soon as possible and may run concurrently with the job posting. The position may be filled as soon as a qualified candidate is identified. The Transportation Department prefers experienced school bus drivers but is also open to training individuals who are the right fit for the job.Pre-employment requirements include: - DOJ/FBI Live Scan Clearance - TB Test ClearanceApplicant must have or be able to acquire:- Valid Class A or B California driver's license with passenger and air brake endorsement, - A restriction 50 school bus endorsements, - DL 45 California Special Driver Certificate, - DL 51A medical card, - First aid certificates or waiver from CHP- FMCSA Clearinghouse Registration Notice to Applicants: This position is considered a safety-sensitive position by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Effective January 6, 2020, any applicant who wishes to be considered for this position must be registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse. Regulations require Rescue Union School District to perform a full query of any individual prior to that person being hired into a safety-sensitive position. Regulations also require applicants to provide consent for the full query. Consent for the full query can only be provided via the online Clearinghouse by individuals registered with the Clearinghouse.
