Job description

Position Description The candidate will serve as the Mission Planning Weapons Integrator for F-35 - within the Strike Mission Planning Branch of the Mission Planning and Off-board Mission Systems Division. The candidate will be responsible for the effective management of weapons system mission planning component integration into the Mission Planning Environment. The candidate will understand various weapon systems, their capabilities, and operational requirements. The candidate will work closely with other F-35 domain areas, including engineering, agile software development teams, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless integration and effective deployment of weapons systems in line with mission objectives. Additionally, the candidate will ensure compatible and similar integration approaches with other platform programs that have already integrated any particular weapon. The candidate will oversee the integration of various weapon systems into mission plans; ensure compatibility and optimal performance of weapons systems with mission platforms. The incumbent will coordinate with engineering teams for any required modifications or adaptations. The incumbent will manage the release process of weapon systems, ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during weapon deployment, and coordinate with operational teams to execute timely and accurate weapon release. The incumbent will conduct and oversee testing of weapon systems within mission scenarios, evaluate performance data to ensure systems meet mission requirements, and provide feedback and recommendations for system improvements. The incumbent must possess strong oral and written communication skills, be able to participate in a team environment, and be able to work with all levels of Leadership. The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret SCI security clearance. Frequent travel up to one week a month will be required. Minimum Salary 86,862 Maximum Salary 134,435
