As a Academic Scheduling and Enrollment Specialist you will have a pivotal role in shaping the academic journey of our students! This critical position offers the opportunity to collaborate with esteemed department chairs, faculty advisors, and other stakeholders, ensuring the efficient and effective scheduling of courses, seminars, and special events. With a focus on supporting our department's mission and academic objectives, you'll engage in meticulous planning and coordination of curriculum schedules to meet diverse student needs for degree progression.

The full salary range for the Academic Scheduling and Enrollment Specialist is $49,800 - $84,200 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

As a university employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.



Education

Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. (Required)


Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience. (Required)


Minimum Requirements

Ability to find solutions to conflicting situations. Ability in problem identification, reasoning, analysis to identify trends. Knowledge of department and school/college general and major course requirements. Knowledge of department, organization, and University policies, procedures, and directives. Knowledge of common University-specific computer application programs. Interpersonal skills to work with department senior management, faculty, and students.



Preferred Qualifications

Role flexibility and ability to adjust to demands of a dynamic work environment including assisting team members in acclimating to environment and workload demands. Ability to prioritize responsibilities based on value to students, the college and its departments, including support for team members in gaining clarity and direction. Lead and encourage collaboration, consultation, and ensure consistency while making significant contributions to a positive work environment.
