Overview:
E2 is hiring an Accountant who has experience in and understanding of advanced accounting principles including general ledger, balance sheets, and accounts receivable/payable. The accountant will be responsible for reporting; including preparation of monthly close (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow), monthly Metric reporting for Corporate, quarterly reporting requirements, monthly forecasts, management reporting, cash availability reporting and budget assistance. They will be actively involvement in process improvement (e.g., data collection, system processes, internal controls, etc.) as it relates to reporting responsibilities, developing new reports for management and assisting in operational reporting requirements. and have interaction with various levels of Finance, Budget, Operating Staff and Management.

This is a Hybrid role.

Responsibilities:
Interpret and apply GAAP and regulatory decisions in preparing transactions, documenting accounting policies, as well as providing accounting guidance to various operating units and assessing impact to the financial statements.

Prepare and review month-end accounting of accruals, for financial and regulatory purposes.

Prepare and execute monthly close processes and the plant sub-ledger.

Complete assigned work order analysis to facilitate the proper disposition of work orders.

Perform financial statement variance explanations related to fixed assets.

Perform monthly variance analysis including identifying key drivers, working closely with internal/external partners, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.

Complete data and transaction processing analysis involving work order and billings for proper disposition.

Perform quarterly and annual compliance reporting and support data request for various regulatory agencies.

Variance explanations and Billing and Accounting activities.

Qualifications:
Required Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.

Five (5) or more years' of experience in Accounting or related field.

Attention to details.

Proficient with SAP.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.

Desired Skills:

PowerPlan system.

Fixed Asset Accounting background.

Wage Data Per State Requirements:
The salary range for this position is $54,900.00 - $68,600.00. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
