This position provides analytic support for Revenue and Opex for a high medical equipment manufacturer based in Laguna Hills, CA. As the Financial Analyst you will report to a VP of Finance and work closely with the CFO.

Description

Responsibilities:

• As the Financial Analyst you will help develop and execute financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights for informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational strategies.
• Conduct thorough revenue and opex analysis to identify opportunities for improvements.
• Implement strategies to enhance revenue and opex.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics to evaluate the financial health of sales.
• Develop and present insightful reports to senior management, highlighting trends and recommending corrective actions.
• Drive initiatives to improve overall financial performance and operational excellence.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify discrepancies and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with operational and sales teams to understand and communicate the financial impact of sales, and marketing related decisions.
• Work closely with various departments to ensure financial goals align with overall business objectives.
• Provide financial guidance to support decision-making processes and drive continuous improvement.

Profile

Qualifications:

• As the Financial Analyst you will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field;
• Two or more years of experience as a Financial Analyst in a medical device or consumer goods environment.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of revenue and opex P&L analysis.
• Experience working with sales and marketing to analyze results and forecast revenue.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• This role is based in Laguna Hills, CA and can be hybrid for the right individual.
