Network/Data Engineer
7+Month Contract
100% Remote

Client is seeking a Network Deployment Coordinator to oversee the implementation of new AVPN circuits and Cisco network switches in central office spaces. This role involves coordinating orders, tracking progress, and ensuring a seamless transition from old to new networks.

Responsibilities:

• Place orders for AVPN circuits and track them to completion.
• Manage hardware orders and generate work orders for switch installation.
• Coordinate with vendors for switch installation and monitor progress.
• Assist in the testing and turn-up of AVPN circuits.
• Coordinate field services teams for switch connection to AVPN.
• Facilitate the migration of central office elements to the new AVPN network.
• Coordinate technical teams during migration via conference calls.

Requirements:

• Experience in Central Office Access Network provisioning.
• Familiarity with AVPN Circuit Ordering Processes.
• Knowledge of Vendor Interaction Process Systems (VIPS).
• Understanding of Conexus Network Architecture.
• Proficiency in Cisco, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN configurations.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
• Strong time and task management skills.
• Comfortable working independently to achieve results.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for ethernet services preferred.
