Silotech Group is recruiting for a Tier III automation support to the 6,000 full-time and 15,000 part-time military service members and civilian employees of the California Army National Guard and other tenant organizations stationed at any of the 93 CAARNG facilities in support of mission readiness, training, logistical, and administrative functions. Location: Sacramento, CA. (Rancho Cordova at the Military Department CHQC). Clearance Requirements: SECRET Essential Roles and Responsibilities: Deliver Tier-III support, encompassing administration, configuration, and maintenance, from Sacramento to troubleshoot and resolve incidents involving routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls, and Unified Communications (UC).
Offer specialized technical support by developing standardized local software images, troubleshooting software issues, and creating and deploying software patches through remote administration tools.
Provide comprehensive Application Development and System Administration services.
Serve as a subject-matter expert in Microsoft SQL Server Database administration, including database management, backup and restore operations, and Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP).
Address complex problems related to hardware, software, and network systems that Tier I support cannot resolve.
Record the problem-solving process, including actions taken and final resolutions, to ensure accurate and detailed documentation.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience: 4-5+ years of high level IT support experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
Expertise in specific areas of IT infrastructure, such as network administration, server management, or cybersecurity.
Certifications: Must possess a valid and current Sec+.
Additional IT/Cyber certifications a preferred qualification but not required.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 annually.
