Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Therapist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to individuals and groups, focusing on mental health and emotional well-being. The Clinical Therapist will work in an outpatient setting, addressing various mental health issues while fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment. Duties - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans. - Provide grief counseling and facilitate group therapy sessions to promote healing and connection among participants. - Implement behavior management strategies tailored to the unique needs of each client. - Utilize medical terminology effectively when documenting patient interactions and treatment progress. - Engage in research activities to stay updated on best practices in therapy and enhance service delivery. - Offer Christian counseling as needed, integrating faith-based approaches into therapeutic practices when appropriate. - Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment outcomes while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations. Skills - Proficient in grief counseling techniques and group therapy facilitation. - Strong understanding of behavior management principles and patient assessment methodologies. - Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to mental health care. - Ability to conduct outpatient therapy sessions effectively, adapting approaches based on individual client needs. - Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and effective communication with clients. - Knowledge of research methods related to mental health treatment and outcomes. - Commitment to ongoing professional development in therapeutic practices.
