How you'll make an impact
Support the Area VP, as well as the team when needed, to ensure that VEBA Direct goals are accomplished, and operations run efficiently
Maintain and refine internal processes that support VEBA Direct, coordinating internal and external resources to expedite workflow
Manage communication between upper management and employees, liaising with internal and external executives on various projects and tasks
Plan and orchestrate work to ensure the priorities are met, organizational goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld
Adhere to organizational Policies and Procedures
Assist with typing letters, forms and minutes.
Manage all meetings, agendas, minutes, notes, etc.
Assist with schedule coordination including virtual and in person meetings, seminars and conferences.
Establish and maintain files as applicable.
Support with report creation and generation.
Create PowerPoint and related/similar presentation materials.
Assist in the management of additional projects that include the digitization of required and/or confidential documents.
Handles written communication i.e. letters, emails, faxes and memos.
Manage equipment, tools and other items for organizational events, meetings and conferences.
Assist with internal and external communications.
Assists with other work assignments and projects as assigned.
About You
Required: High school diploma and 2 years related experience required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
Preferred:
Minimum Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree preferred.
Four years of experience in administrative role reporting directly to upper management. Experience working for a health plan or related organization.
Proficient with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook and aptitude for learning new software and systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality for the company and its employees
Advanced attention to detail and management of workflow.
Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at the same time
Apply critical thinking to daily tasks.
Flexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge
