Better Buzz Coffee is actively recruiting for a FACILITIES MANAGER for our growing brand
A local USDA Organic Certified Coffee Roaster with multiple cafe locations throughout Southern California and a 10,000 sq. foot roasting facility in Vista, CA, and now with locations in Arizona and Nevada, Better Buzz is committed to providing outstanding service to our community while fostering a fun and upbeat work environment for our team.

Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Ensure Better Buzz Coffee's multiple facilities are kept in excellent condition and operating as intended
Perform regular maintenance and repairs at all Better Buzz Coffee locations, as well as maintenance for all related business and Better Buzz Coffee office
Develop a thorough reporting and tracking system with facility data such as equipment and fixture install, upkeep, downtime, and expected maintenance to organize and track all maintenance
Define and schedule rotational maintenance for all Better Buzz Coffee locations, effectively prioritizing both short-term upkeep and long-term
Perform all aspects of the position with efficiency, respect, friendliness, professionalism, teamwork, knowledge, patience, awareness, compassion, courtesy and initiative
Coordinate with vendors and technician, including equipment suppliers, maintenance contractors, technical contractors, etc. while balancing time, cost, and strategic relationships
Partner with Better Buzz Coffee store leadership teams to always understand the state of each Better Buzz Coffee location as it compares to our standards for equipment and fixture quality and performance, intervening quickly and effectively where needed
Create new strategies, programs, and processes that scale easily and keep facility quality high as the company continues to add locations
Perform vendor research and quote analysis for new retail merchandise and ensure that we are always finding the most cost-effective solutions/vendors
Deliver an excellent experience to every internal guest and external vendor
Weekend, after hours and vacation work required
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
High School Diploma or GED graduate required (Associate's level college experience preferred).
3-5 years maintenance/facilities trade experience required
Previous coffee and/or hospitality industry experience a plus.
Ability to work independently as needed with minimal supervision.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
Ability to provide quality guest service to a wide variety of constituents.
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
Ability to learn and use new technical equipment and computer programs.
Effective grasp of the English language to draft and edit written correspondence.
Willingness to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment.
Ability to work effectively in a team setting, especially during busy periods.
Have a valid driver's license.
