Job description

Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc., is seeking a full time Integrated Test Engineer II in San Diego, CA. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide to project teams test engineering support during CNO availabilities, EMs, CMAVs, and WOOs.
Evaluate and ensure information regarding test plans, test schedules and other test related documentation from the Naval Supervising Activity (NSA) project manager or other NSA representative is accurate and delivered to the Lead Maintenance Activity (LMA) for integration into the Integrated Test Plan (ITP) and Integrated Test Schedule (ITS).
Review schedule and testing information from all executing activities that may include Ship's Force, Ship Superintendents, and AIT. Document and report deficiencies to the weekly coordination meeting. Provide schedules to the LMA for inclusion into the ITS.
The ITE will chair the weekly coordination meeting. Provide the PT with a weekly agenda to ensure all testing and scheduling areas are addressed.
Review and evaluate work specifications as requested by the NSA project manager based on technical risk and the quality management plan for the assigned availability.
Coordinate with the NSA Project Manager to ensure the Integrated Test Plan, Integrated Production Schedule, and Availability Work Package correspond.
Upon receipt evaluate the Test Schedule Networks (TSNs) provided by each non-LMA maintenance activity prior to submission to the LMA.
Review testing information with the LMA and verify accuracy of the overall TSN developed by the LMA prior to start of Avail and monthly thereafter.
The Contractor must prepare, schedule and lead key event and availability complete certification briefs.
Prepare all required products including certification PowerPoint, CHENG certification memos, and other supporting documents.
Work with the assigned Project Support Engineer (PSE) on the key event technical risk assessment.
Formally schedule all certification briefs in Outlook calendar. Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent
Four (4) years' experience with ship availability maintenance projects and knowledge of shipboard systems
Must be proficient in MS Office
Must have an active SECRET clearance.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens. Preferred Qualifications: Six (6) years' experience with depot level ship maintenance and alteration projects
Senior Enlisted (E7-E9) or Commissioned Officer experience
SMMO or STO experience Pay Range: The pay range for this role is $32.30 To $35.00 Hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. ADA Notations: Requires walking, reaching, sitting and concentration in the presence of occasional noise
Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 50 lbs. in weight
Ability to work in office, warehouse, laboratory, pier side, and shipboard locations.
Noise conditions range from very quiet to loud, hearing protection may be required at times.
Travel may be required within and outside of the continental United States to perform extended ITE duties. Employee may be required to travel to different RMCs or Naval Ship locations.
