Digital Core Site Services (DCSS) plays an integral role in the delivery of the infrastructure services at all Lilly sites and affiliates globally. The Digital Core Site Services team is actively looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Leader. Are you passionate about using technology to power the making of our innovative medicines? What You'll Be Doing:
As the IT Infrastructure Leader for our biotechnology center in San Diego, California you will accountability that all infrastructure services, from network to cloud, from print to modern meeting and collaboration technology are delivered to our site business partners and enrich the digital experience on their iOS, MacOS and PC devices.

How You'll Succeed:
- By working jointly with corporate IT Infrastructure and the Research IT teams you will ensure that the IT Infrastructure operations run reliably and stable and that the technology stays current
- With a high level of curiosity, you will maintain a broad understanding of Lilly's technology and research strategy, staying fully engaged with local business partners and global technology teams, thus facilitating services and technology solutions that deliver the best outcomes for the Lilly's Biotechnology Center.
- You will bring your technical experience to tailor technology and services to local needs and improve local business partners digital experience with technology solutions.
- You are always looking for innovative ways to improve and deliver services.
What You Should Bring:
- Broad Understanding of IT Infrastructure (End User Computing, Telecom/Networks, Cloud/Server Platforms, collaboration platforms such as O365, Windows/iOS/MacOS operating systems)
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITIL)
- Some understanding of / experience with manufacturing processes (GMP)
- Self-management skills with a focus on results for prompt and accurate completion of challenging work
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication sills
- Experience in working with 3rd parties.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, Science, Technology Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of related working experience
Additional Information:
- Position based on-site in San Diego, California
- Lilly currently anticipates that the base salary for this position could range from between $70,500 to $159,500 and will depend, in part, on the successful candidate's qualifications for the role, including education and experience. This position also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate in a company-sponsored retirement plan and 401(k); vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent daycare flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities). Of course, the compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described above.
