INDUS supports the planning, coordination, and installation activities of Combat System and Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Intelligence (C5I) Systems in aircraft carriers, and other strike group or strike force units (including but not limited to LHA, LHD, LPD, and other L-Class units). Our team is directly responsible for supporting the planning, budgeting, and execution of New Construction (SCN) testing and modernization efforts on Amphibious ship Combat Systems for Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD), Ship Defense and Expeditionary Warfare Department, Amphibious Combat Systems. Reporting to the Program Manager, the Logistics Representative (LOG REP) provides supply and logistics support to programs on the CVN/L-Class Support Services contract. This position is located in San Diego, CA or Norfolk, VA. What You'll Do Provide Amphibious Ship Logistics Management support to Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD), Ship Defense and Expeditionary Warfare Department. Provide logistics analysis to ensure successful coordination of logistic element requirements before, during, and after a combat system test event. Provide logistic analysis of integrated logistic support certification for pre and post availability, outlining status of planned and completed ILS changes for that availability. Attend all daily coordination and testing meetings including the weekly availability progress meetings as required. Provide tracking, receipt, inventory and delivery of ILS products for combat system SMEs prior, during, and follow-up of combat system test event. Provide logistics related services to ship's personnel, other In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEAs), installing engineers, and various AIT personnel. Provide training to ship's force on how to utilize various supply channels. Screen Re-engineered Residual Asset Management System (RRAM) for critical parts requirements for free issue. Coordinate with DLA, FISCs, etc., in the expediting of shipments to ensure the timely delivery of critical material in support of assessment and test teams. Utilize the NAVSEA Push/Pull Program to ensure accurate and timely Coordinated Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL) support to the ships in support of initial outfitting requirements. Analyze logistic status completion report inputs supporting CSPE availability completion reports. Attend various briefs as required. Bid and proposal support if requested. Other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications: An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position. HS Diploma required. Three (3) years of experience providing combat systems logistics support with associated duties including: Strong candidate will have solid experience/ knowledge in being a Combat Systems IPS Lead, resolving Technical Feedback Reports (TFBRs), reviewing and updating Provisioning Technical Documentation, (PTD), resolving supply support issues, supporting Combat System Logistics Supportability Assessments (LOGSATS). Ability to pick up and move 20 lbs. and to climb ladders and use hatches during shipboard work. Ability to use Personal Protective gear (Hardhat, earplugs, safety glasses, safety boots (steel toed) rated for use by NSWC PHD Safety Office. Must be accountable for delivering quality and accurate work on or before pre-determined deadlines. Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated problem-solving skills. Must possess strong time management skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to lift items that may weigh up to 50 pounds. Travel Required 75% travel required. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in engineering or a related technical field is desired. INDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $80,000. - $90,000. The pay range for this role considers job-related knowledge, skills, work location, education and training, and certifications.
