Job Brief AEGIS FCS Maintenance Tech Ghostrock, LLC,a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking aNavy AEGIS FCS Tech with to join our Team inSan Diego, CA. Mk 99 Fire Control Systems (FCS) Technician Position Responsibilities: Providetechnical services representing SWRMC Engineering Department and other duties as assigned. Provide both on-board, and distance-support technical assistance with direct fleet support of a wide variety of equipment and components for surface ships over their extended operating cycle. Provide services as a system and equipment evaluator and/or inspector for major assessments such as INSURV, C5RA and TSRA. Provide technical resolutions for all modification for the Aegis MK 99 Fire Control System and Operational Readiness Test System (ORTS) functional, technical, maintenance and training problems beyond the capability of ships force. Performs shipboard training, system evaluation, alignment, and repair on AEGIS MK 99 FCS, ORTS and related support equipment to shipboard personnel. Conducts independent tech assists on various systems problems that are beyond ships force capability, which involves complex problems with multiple faults. Performs Inspections on Pacific Fleet ships during TYCOM Material Inspection (TMI's), Total Ships Readiness Assessment (TSRAs), Pre-INSURV Assessment (PIAs), and Mid Cycle Inspection (MCI), enhancing the readiness of the ships to fulfill their missions. Perform radar collimation and alignment of the AN/SPG-62 Antenna and the MK 82 Gun and Guided Missile Director , to provide weapon direction accuracy of the MK 99 Fire Control System. Provide follow up documentation within SWRMC databases fleet technical support (FTS) and generate Tech Assist Visit Reports (TAVRs) as required. Provide technical assistant to In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) on system class problems, attends work group meeting, provide input and exchanging information to better improve system performance and services to the fleet. Prepare written and verbal, operational and situational reports to the ships and the SWRMC supervisory chain. Deliver typed and handwritten reports as required. Position Requirements: • US Citizenship • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret level clearance; person's currently possessing an Active Secret Clearance preferred. • High School Diploma or Equivalent. • Navy C Schools related to the specific equipment. • 8 - 12 years' work-related experience maintaining & operating AEGIS FCS and associated systems and equipment. • Ability to pass a background check. • Ability to pass National Agency Check. • Valid US Driver's License. • NECs related to the specific equipment. Position located in San Diego, CA. The hourly rate for this position is $39.50 - $47.80 based on experience.
