Position Description If you love high profile and challenging programing projects supporting the US Navy, Serco has a great opportunity for you! This Systems Analyst will be part of a dynamic team, developing training direction and developing related training materials supporting Sailors in multiple global locations and roles. You will be based out of San Diego, CA. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our Sailors. Serco supports the US Navy and NAVWAR developing and delivering training products for US Navy C4I systems. Our team maintains and manages the training programs and directives ensuring the safety of the Sailors and to allowing them to perform their missions successfully. You will be working closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality systems. Rick Shute is a Navy veteran and leads this team with over 40 years' experience. The team has been recognized by the Navy for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program. The ideal candidate will, under general supervision: Conducts training needs assessment and evaluation of training programs Conducts training sessions and assists in evaluating the effectiveness of training activities Develop technical training courses to meet training needs and delivering training to end-users Assists with updating course documentation on a continuous basis to ensure timeliness and relevance May work with engineering, technical support and manufacturing to ensure that course material reflects current product features. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Qualifications To be successful in the role, you will have: An Active DoD Issued Top Secret/SCI Clearance; required at time of application Sponsorship will be considered for U.S. Citizens that are eligible to obtain a Top Secret Clearance and have specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience or for labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or similar and 2 to 4 years relevant work experience Educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for an additional 4 years of work experience 6+ years experience as a US Navy Cryptologic Technician Knowledge of Front End Analysis, development and review (e.g. Data Collection, Task Analyses (TAs), Training Systems Requirements Analysis (TSRA), and Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) Knowledge of Job, Duty, Task Analysis (JDTA) development, Training Decision Coordinating Paper (TDCP), Training Curriculum Package development, Training Effectiveness Evaluation Plans (TEEPs), and Training Project Plans Proficiency in Microsoft applications Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time. T ravel to US Navy training locations within the United States and OCONUS possible, though not likely.
