Overview

RJ Imaging, an affiliate of Quality Health Partners, provides an array of mobile radiology modalities servicing areas in the Los Angeles County area predominantly in the Santa Clarita Valley, San Fernando Valley, Central Los Angeles, San Gabriel Valley, and Gateway Cities. We are a growing Mobile Imaging Group looking for a Mammography Technologist to join our team of leading providers of quality healthcare to the community and independently perform breast imaging procedures.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform routine and complex breast imaging and examination procedures following company guidelines.

Perform required quality assurance procedures at the designated intervals as appropriate.

Instruct patients in breast self-examinations as required.

Consistently ensure good patient care, comfort, safety, and confidentiality.

Maintain a second Mammography registry with the ARRT by annually accruing five ECE's specific to Mammography education. Demonstrate competency in the use of all applicable aspects of the CIS, RIS, and PACS.

Perform other duties as assigned and/or work in various work areas to meet company staffing needs.

Qualifications:

Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school and ability to meet requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT).

Mammographic Radiologic Technology certified.

Able to operate sophisticated computer equipment.

Strong interest in scientific and technical skill and knowledge.

Able to interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured.

Able to communicate effectively.

Able to perform well independently.

Able to follow detailed instructions.

Able to adapt.

Highly self-motivated.

Requirements:

Must be open to travel to multiple sites within the Los Angeles and San Diego area.

The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to interact effectively with doctors, patients, peers, and management.

Minimum of one year of clinical Mammography experience

Must have valid Driver's License

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $55.00 - $57.00 per hour
