Check out our website at Home - Metronome () Description: Provide program management support to a Navy client program office to a program in the Information Operations Team. Provide understanding to support a Navy client in tracking and management of routine program tasks, including data calls, scheduling meetings, collaborating with a cross functional team to achieve APM-stated objectives, building and tracking changes to program spend plans. Assist APM and PSS team to monitor cost, schedule, and performance of multiple development efforts, using tools like MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, and author documentation and presentations in support of program decisions. Ability to coordinate with functional and technical experts on program documentation to facilitate program planning. Ability to facilitate meetings and briefings on behalf of the client and organize and execute client meetings as needed. Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems in program management support. Published Required Skills Acquisition Execution:
Execute and oversee acquisition requirements in compliance with DoD 5000 series, relevant Office of Management and Budget (OMB) circulars, the Defense Acquisition Guide, and the DoD Guide to Planning and Scheduling.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of acquisition processes across the lifecycle of ACAT I program(s).
Scheduling Requirements: Develop and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to support program milestones and objectives.
Ensure scheduling processes incorporate actual event feedback to maintain program timelines. Risk Management:
Identify and analyze risk drivers, dependencies, and root causes, implementing risk mitigation strategies throughout the program lifecycle.
Develop and manage risk management and consequence management strategies to address program challenges proactively. Prepare acquisition documentation including, but not limited to, Initial Capabilities Document (ICD), Capability Development Document (CDD), and Capability Production Document (CPD).
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field. Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of experience within DoD acquisition organizations, spanning ACAT I / II to ACAT III / IV, and Additional Acquisition Programs (AAPs).
At least 3 years of direct experience supporting Navy systems acquisition. Certifications: (Optional)
DAWIA Level III in Program Management or equivalent certification, such as PMP.
Demonstrated experience with ACAT I programs is required.
