The role involves the development and implementation of strategic initiatives through management of field-based HUB services teams across the Avidity portfolio creating synergies where applicable, and holding teams accountable. This role collaborates with the functional leaders across U.S. Market Access in strategy alignment and directs all vendors for third party patient services (including commercial co-pay assistance programs and patient assistance programs, etc.). The Senior Director is responsible for the development and oversight of vendor contracting, performance management, and for assessing and reporting on the vendor efficiencies, successes, and challenges.What You Will Contribute
- The Senior Director, HUB Services is responsible for efficient operations of the case management team with the HUB vendor as well as ensuring alignment and teamwork among cross functional stakeholders.
- Align on priorities across the portfolio ensuring access to medication is not disrupted.
- Work in partnership with Executive Director, Patient Services, and Senior Director, Site of Care, to develop strategy by tracking evolving market conditions and identifying areas of focus that impact the success of the organization.
- Lead buildout in partnership with IT on HIPAA compliant case management system.
- Build and lead internal case management team members through productive on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities.
- Implement appropriate accountabilities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team fulfills required competencies; foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Develop and implement compliant patient support programs, including commercial copay assistance, bridge and patient assistance programs.
- Manage all HUB associated budgets and contracting.
- Recommend and oversee improvements and process changes to HUB services contracts as necessary, within the scope of company compliance guidelines to support patient and provider needs.
- Monitor and assess HUB and Copay vendor performance measures, staffing needs, and adjust when necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. MBA or advanced degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 15+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience with a minimum of 5 years in recent orphan experience, preferably with "ultra-rare" patient populations.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in managed care, distribution or patient services/reimbursement.
- Minimum 8+ years in a management or leadership role of people or function.
- Minimum 2+ years experience at the prior level.
- Excellent leadership, project management and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven track record in holding teams accountable and creating alignment across several stakeholders.
- Strength in assessing synergies and opportunities in both processes and teams.
- Experience working with multiple projects and managing multiple external vendors.
- Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical reimbursement and managed care landscape, reimbursement processes, and specialty pharmacy and HUB operations.

- Requires approximately 50% travel, including some overnight and weekend commitments.
- The base salary range for this role is $260,655 - $288,092. The final compensation will be commensurate with such factors as relevant experience, skillset, internal equity and market factors.
