Still not convinced? Allow us to elaborate. For this opportunity, we are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Senior Principal Systems Engineer . What does this mean to you? We are seeking expertise in RF engineering, programmatic cost, schedule, and performance management. The ideal candidate will have a background in radio frequencies, waveforms, and advanced signal processing, with an understanding of programmatic cost, schedule, and performance from a technical perspective. They should be able to interpret technical data and create and present briefs suitable for executive audiences and decision-makers. Additionally, they will be able to identify, lead, and manage Project Engineers and technical leads assigned to their projects, overseeing task assignments, completion progress, and ensuring that valuable outcomes are achieved and contractual requirements are met. The candidate will also evaluate a wide range of problems in the development, deployment, and improvement of information systems, networks, equipment, and hardware/software applications. They will identify advances in automation technologies, state-of-the-art equipment, and their application in existing and proposed electronic information systems. This role requires someone who can evaluate systems designs for effectiveness in resolving complex engineering requirements and can conduct studies on cost, interoperability, industry trends, performance, reliability, and functionality of systems and networks. Lastly, as we are working for the DoD, we are beholden to some requirements. The ideal candidate would already possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. This exciting position will have the chance to work on just about any aspect there is as it pertains to RF/microwave engineering, antenna design, and system-level modeling. What does this mean to you? We are seeking expertise in RF and microwave engineering, with experience in Department of Defense (DOD) Acquisition Systems Engineering practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF/microwave engineering and antenna design principles, as well as proficiency in system modeling, requirements analysis, and trade studies. Leadership skills are essential, with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional engineering teams. Knowledge of electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, CST) and system-level modeling software is a plus, along with familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and testing procedures for antenna systems.
