Responsibilities:

As a Senior Research Scientist specializing in In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) materials, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our research and development efforts. Your responsibilities will include:

Research and Development:

Lead and contribute to the design and development of innovative materials for IVD applications.

Conduct thorough literature reviews and stay abreast of advancements in IVD materials to guide research initiatives.

Material Characterization:

Utilize advanced techniques for the characterization of materials, ensuring their suitability for IVD products.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess the performance, stability, and compatibility of materials.

Experimental Design:

Design and execute experiments to evaluate the feasibility and performance of novel materials.

Implement statistical analyses to ensure robust experimental design and reliable data interpretation.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with internal teams, including engineers, chemists, and product development specialists, to integrate new materials into IVD products.

Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and research organizations to leverage expertise and stay current on industry trends.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure that all research activities adhere to regulatory standards and contribute to the development of documentation required for regulatory submissions.

Quality Control and Assurance:

Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the consistency and reliability of materials in IVD applications.

Contribute to quality assurance processes to meet industry standards.

Training and Mentorship:

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior scientists and research associates within the team.

Facilitate knowledge transfer and contribute to the professional development of team members.

Requirements

Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Materials Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field).

3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in research and development, with a focus on materials for the IVD industry.

Proven expertise in material characterization techniques, experimental design, and statistical analysis.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements for IVD products and experience in contributing to regulatory submissions.

Strong collaboration and communication skills, both within cross-functional teams and with external partners.

Demonstrated ability to lead projects, drive innovation, and contribute to the advancement of IVD materials.
