Join Our Team as a Systems Engineer! We are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer who will play a critical role in the planning, design, integration, and installation of complex information systems for Navy programs. In this position, you will contribute to cutting-edge defense technology projects and collaborate with a talented team to support Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR). This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced systems and technologies that impact national security. What You'll Do: •Design, integrate, and install information systems and related subsystems. •Provide systems engineering expertise in areas like hardware system design, analysis of alternatives, end-of-life planning, and technical documentation. •Develop and execute test plans, create technical documentation, and analyze system performance. •Conduct configuration management and control for Navy programs. •Perform technical requirements definition and allocation. •Collaborate with the team to drive process improvements and analytical studies. •Ensure compliance with security protocols, including encryption technologies for data in transit. Your Expertise: •Active Secret Clearance (required). •Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related technical field. •Certifications in containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) or networking (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus. •Minimum of 5 years' experience in a DoD, Navy, NAVWAR program, or a related field. •Familiarity with Navy networks such as CANES. •Strong understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies. •Experience with Configuration Management tools like CMPro. •Knowledge of Agile workflows such as Scrum or Kanban. •Expertise in server, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies. •Strong analytical skills, especially in supporting process improvement and system analysis. Skills You'll Need: •Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). •Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities. •Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. •Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
