Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in San Diego, California.

THIS IS A CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL POSITION - PEDIATRIC ICU EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested Required: • CA License • First to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including ED • Will care for all age ranges and levels of acuity • BLS • PALS • 2 full recent years of Pediatric ICU experience (PICU, CTICU, CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL) for travelers with PICU exp - 15 bed minimum and higher acuity of care across ALL PICU/ICU areas • Experience: Ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG. Shifts: • 3x12 variable or straight night • (4-5 weekend shifts sat-sun on day shift and then 5-6 shifts of fri-sat nights - traveler gets off one full weekend every 4 week schedule) • 13 week contracts Requested Time Off: Max 6 days (Must still get 3 shifts in per week) Must work 2 out of the 3 holidays Patient Population: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, neurosurgery. Trauma, hem onc, DKA if PH or altered consciousness
