What is in it for you:
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Talent and Culture, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Manage the day-to-day employee requests and inquiries
Assist with the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives
Assist with recruitment activities, including job fairs, university events, and the internship program
Assist with the administrative duties of the recruitment process including onboarding and new hire orientation
Conduct initial interviews of Hotel applicants
Develop and maintain relationships with leading Hotel schools, participate in oncampus recruitment and coordinate any Management Training or Internship Programs
Play a critical role in the day to day operation of the Talent & Culture Department as well as in assisting in the implementation of the Talent & Culture strategy
Promote positive Colleague relations through an environment that encourages open communication, trust, mutual respect and fun
Assist employees with time off questions, benefits enrollment and benefits questions
Maintain employee files and including tracking of employee attendance, vacation time, and disciplinary actions
Serve as mediator during times of conflict between employees
Provide administrative support such as unemployment claims, leave requests, and workers compensation claims
Follow departmental policies and procedures
Follow all safety policies
Other duties as assigned
Salary Range: $74,000 to $99,000 USD Gross Annually
Your experience and skills include:
Previous human and resources experience preferred
Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Visa Requirements:
Must have proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
