EXPANDED LEARNING PROGRAM 6th-8th Grade

We are currently seeking committed and passionate Instructors to lead Academic, Enrichment and Recreation activities for the Expanded Learning Program for 6th- 8th graders. Our ideal Program Instructor will have a strong dedication to youth development, a sense of creativity and enthusiasm and be able to commit to working the entire school year.

Benefits:

Pay rate: $23 - $25 per hour DOE

16 paid BACR holidays

Flexible hours negotiated upon hiring (20 hours per week)

Requirements

Must have an AA degree or higher, 48 + college credits OR pass the SFUSD Instructional Aide Exam (High School Diploma or GED required)

Ability to work Monday - Friday until 6:00 pm for the duration of the school year (hours will be determined at time of offer, between 20 - 30 hours per week until 6:00pm)

Must be able to communicate openly in a professional manner with students, parents, community partners, and BACR staff.

Must pass a criminal background check and have TB Clearance

Experience working with Elementary or Middle school youth preferred

Responsibilities:

Ability to manage classroom, plan, and facilitate activities for up to 20 students

Create, plan, execute lesson plans for student enrichment

Must be able to work independently or part of a team

Actively supervise and ensure student safety at all times

Model positive and proactive attitudes, behaviors and language
