Job Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will serve as a strategic finance partner to the Visa's Open Banking Team and Value Added Services (VAS) business. This role requires interpersonal skills to cultivate partnerships across functions, regions, and teams, to drive thought leadership, and successfully enact all planning, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting processes. This role presents results and provides insights and analysis to business partners and executives. The ideal candidate has a background in financial analysis, preferably with a public company, and proven results collaborating with team members and supported functions.

Essential Functions

Supports the coordination, organization, and execution of quantitative and qualitative analyses. Examples of activities include traditional budgeting and forecasting, month-end close, enhanced financial / business reporting, business case development, pricing analysis, P&L generation, and business planning support.

Understand individual product offerings, market dynamics, and underlying drivers

Work with sales teams to understand pipelines for all Products: evaluate penetration, pricing, and opportunities for growth

Supports business case development for key initiatives, ad hoc requests, and special projects.

Establishes and maintains relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders (i.e., executives and staff) in the business and serves as a key point of contact for finance issues.

Acquires and maintains a deep understanding of the strategies, priorities, and issues of the business.

Applies overall analytical skills and experience to become a highly valued business partner.

Identifies and implements changes that improve efficiency and effectiveness of operational decision making.

Learn and understand Visa's financial reporting systems: run data queries, build financial architecture, and support finance technology initiatives.

Builds near and long-term views for growth that align with business strategy and data.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
