Job description
DocuSign for Salesforce is the e-signature solution on the Salesforce AppExchange. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive development of DocuSign s System of Agreement in Salesforce, the world s customer relationship management (CRM) platform. DocuSign is the global standard and leader in the $25B e/digital signature market. This market is less than 10% penetrated worldwide giving DocuSign a staggering opportunity for growth!
As a Senior Product Manager on the Salesforce team you ll be responsible for driving ongoing growth through new features and enhancements including core offerings that support the evolving business needs of customers and prospects ranging from high-end enterprises to consumers and small businesses.
This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Lead Product Manager.
Responsibilities
- Help develop strategy and roadmap for DocuSign product offerings for Salesforce
- You will be responsible for driving the vision and requirements, translate them to functional specifications, facilitate a sound design and deliver an efficient experience
- Actively leverage primary and secondary research to deepen understanding of regulated industry customers across their lifecycle, from awareness to renewal and expansion
- Own insights on the markets and segments in which these applications compete; stay abreast of industry trends, events, and channels to anticipate customer needs
- Understand and profile high value, innovative use cases purchased and implemented by regulated industry customers
- Evaluate and prioritize requirements in partnership with the business, leveraging industry best practices and new innovations. Prioritize and manage the backlog for effective release and sprint planning
- Facilitate requirements definition across teams to decompose and document releases, epics, functional requirements to developer-ready user stories and acceptance criteria
- Work with Program Management and Engineering to ensure product ships on time and to quality
- Actively leverage primary and secondary research to deepen understanding of regulated industry customers across their lifecycle, from awareness to renewal and expansion
Basic Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in product management for an enterprise cloud/SaaS product/service
- Experienced working cross-functionally with Engineering IT, Operations, Program Management, Sales and Customer Support
- Direct experience in delivering product using iterative or Agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM)
- Bachelor s Degree in a technology related area of study (CS, EE, IT, Systems, MIS, etc.)
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with distributed systems and platform architecture
- Experience developing products on the Salesforce Platform
- Demonstrated success managing products including new, existing, or legacy products
- Strong track record of building lasting business cross-functional partnership with both internal and external groups, especially IT, Engineering, Operations, Program Management, Sales and Customer Support
- Experienced influencer with the ability to collaborate well in a matrixed environment having multiple stakeholders and roadmap delivery commitments
- Experience building and using telemetry to review site performance and make data-driven decisions
