Job Description: Facility Foreman

The Facility Foreman supervises plant operations and performs hands-on tasks, including drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, and wastewater treatment. This role is physically demanding, requiring work in potentially adverse conditions year-round, such as extreme heat or cold. The Facility Foreman ensures safety, compliance, and effective oversight of plant activities while directly supervising multiple employees.

Shift: Swing Shift, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Pay: $25.00/hour

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent

2+ years of industry-related or hazardous waste experience (preferred)

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Proficiency in Windows-based applications

Experience in plant operations (drum pumping, tank farm, wastewater treatment, etc.)

Forklift operation experience (preferred)

Ability to work in adverse conditions year-round

Familiarity with compliance protocols and safety regulations

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following all policies and procedures

Perform plant operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, truck offloading/loading, and wastewater treatment

Supervise multiple employees, ensuring they meet compliance standards and follow safety protocols

Operate forklifts as needed

Maintain accurate waste tracking paperwork and submit it immediately after processing operations

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Perform basic analysis of samples following prescribed procedures

Calibrate and utilize basic instrumentation for testing

Perform maintenance of equipment under direct supervision

Complete all paperwork associated with analyses (e.g., calibration logs, run logs) in a neat and timely fashion

Ensure all work meets applicable QA/QC guidelines and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, company Health and Safety, and compliance protocols

Manage the supply inventory in your area, including proper waste management and housekeeping best practices

Work under the direct supervision of senior laboratory members

Review all applicable laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) annually and score satisfactorily on SOP quizzes

Adhere to all applicable Company policies, procedures, and SOPs
