Product Manager San Jose, CA or San Francisco, CA Contract

Short Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager with a strong background in retail and in-store operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the in-store shopping experience and a proven track record of delivering successful products in a retail environment.

What will you do?

Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for in-store products, aligning with the company's overall objectives and customer needs.

Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product development and positioning.

Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development process, from concept to launch. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.

Customer Focus: Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve products. Ensure that the in-store products meet and exceed customer expectations.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor product performance and key metrics. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives. Present product updates and progress to senior leadership.

Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication across teams.

What are we looking for?

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 8 years of product management experience in the retail industry, with a focus on in-store products and solutions.

Skills: Strong understanding of retail operations and the in-store shopping experience. Proven ability to develop and launch successful products. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with product management tools and methodologies. Experience with agile development processes is a plus.
