GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Manages people who lead cross-functional teams that are focused on the delivery of a product or computer-based system from design to release for customers. Develops, defines and executes project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables. Identifies needed resources for projects, defines and assigns major project roles. Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with external customers or field-based employees on technical matters, as needed. Assigns and monitors work of project/program management staff, providing technical support and direction. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Lead and manage concurrent programs at various stages. • Accountable for technical, cost and schedule execution on assigned programs. • Create program milestone plans, schedules, contract work breakdown structures, and resource plans. • Develop and manage program budget, schedule, monitoring, and completion of goals and milestones. • Primary interface with internal and external communication at all levels of the organization. • Provide clear guidance and strong leadership to all stakeholders. • Support proposals and business development activities for new pursuits. • Provide strategic guidance related to technology innovation and customer engagement. • Manage program risks and opportunities for technologies, facilities, and supply chain. • Present opportunities to successfully execute on the program and improve business processes affecting program execution. • Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position may have direct supervisory responsibilities. Experience and Skills KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance, if needed.
• Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the Essential Job Functions, including computer skills.
• Maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government requirements.
• Communicate and interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and public, including maintaining respect for others, and following company policies.
• Have a willingness and ability to learn and utilize company technology for company required purposes, including, for example training, reviewing and signing policies and procedures, benefits enrollment and changes, and more.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.

• Ability to maintain knowledge, skills, and abilities as it pertains to your job. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's in engineering, science, manufacturing, or business.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in program management or a mix of engineering, business development and program management. • Strong leadership skills including the ability to motivate, coach and guide teams.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to develop cost models and monitor/report financials. • Strong analytic skills and attention to details to manage scope effectively. • Experience in leading cross-functional teams. • Experience participating in contract negotiations
• Experience in RF/Microwave defense industry. • Experience in managing concurrent programs ranging from $1M to over $20M.
• Experience in managing programs at various lifecycles spanning from inception through production. • Must hold an active DoD Secret Clearance or have the ability to obtain one. Desired Qualifications:
• Program Management Professional (PMP) certification. • Experience in managing RF/Microwave space-grade / hi-reliability programs. WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Office and/or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
