Test Development Manager

SUMMARY:

An experienced Production Test Development Manager is needed to lead a US-based test development team in the Power Management division. This leadership role is key to ensuring the integrity and performance of innovative Power Management ICs, supporting a wide range of applications including Mobile, Consumer, IoT, and Industrial sectors. The role requires a leader who can expertly navigate the complexities of Power Management IC production testing while effectively collaborating across design and test engineering teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and manage the test development team for Power Management ICs in the US

Develop and enforce test strategies to ensure product reliability and performance

Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automated test systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the US and Asia to support product development and production

Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality test solutions that meet production schedules

Mentor and develop team members to enhance their technical and professional skills

Optimize test processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in test engineering

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science (BS) degree (or greater) in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of industry experience

Minimum of 5 years of management experience

Expertise in automated test design, development, and maintenance

Proficiency with software development and debugging on ATE systems (Cohu DMDx, Teradyne ETS88, or Sinetest STT)

Experience with schematic design for socketed test fixtures, probe cards, and load boards

Knowledge of Power Management ICs including Buck, Boost, LDO, and Microcontroller Units

Familiarity with I2C and SPI serial communication protocols

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
