VIP Support Engineer

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a VIP Support Engineer for a contract position in San Jose, CA. The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.


Position Summary: As VIP Support Engineer within Client, you will work in a global team focusing on providing a premier end user experience for our senior leadership team. Supporting Windows, Mac & Linux, as well as Mobile solutions and collaboration tools. Striving to continually excel in everything you deliver. You will support and input to the direction of Executive support and its consistent delivery. This will be achieved through working closely with colleagues to deliver first class support. The role requires the ability to be flexible and multitask in an ever-changing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of ownership, excellent judgment, good communication skills and ability, along with a willingness to take on challenges proactively.



Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:


  • You will represent the human face of IT technology to all office users in our offices.
  • Working as part of a team providing a global support function across all client's offices and time zones.
  • Provide appropriate support to our senior leadership and executive community across endpoints, meetings, conferences, and events both on and offsite. As well as supporting our 8,000 user base on Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems.
  • Accountable for the support of technology however and wherever it is used by the people you support!



Qualifications:


  • Experience of working in a geographically diverse organization.
  • Consistent track record in dedicated support of key decision makers and the wider client community including hands on technical IT support of C Suite executives in a technology organization or similar enterprise. Thinking on your feet and dedication to ensure success.
  • A passion to personalize and be responsible for the outcomes and your own success.
  • Experience of consistent and concise communication across all levels of business and technology.
  • Ability to support all forms of technology from laptops to audio video, collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack, Teams) and everything in between. Microsoft Office 365 suite, Active Directory / Azure AD and Network services.
  • Hands on technical experience of either Windows, Mac or Linux operating systems in an enterprise environment.
  • Basic hardware fault diagnosis, resolution and setup beneficial!
  • Ability to work to tight SLA's and KPI's while still ensuring you focus on delighting your customers. Building rapport with our users is essential.
  • At least 4 years experience of front line hands online support in a technology organisation or similar enterprise.
