$67K-75K annually Dependent on Experience and Location of Role

Potential 90-day performance-based raise

Responsibilities:
The Role

The Receiving tasks will be responsible to coordinate receivers and cooling personnel to guarantee that all incoming produce is received and cooled both accurately and efficiently. This role will also oversee daily schedules, plans days off, and is responsible for hiring receiving personnel. Will also work closely with Sales and Shipping departments to maintain communication regarding incoming product, quality, icing, fiber, and any related issues. The QA tasks will hold QA techs responsible for daily monitoring, inspecting, and proposing measures to correct or improve fresh products delivered to Coke Farm to meet established quality standards. Inspection and reporting on all inventory within the cooler. Works directly with Grower Liaison team and Sales to establish quality standards based on market needs.

Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To

Assign receiving crews' daily tasks; ensuring product receiving accuracy and quality of product.

Oversee activities of the receiving crew to ensure accuracy, productivity and customer service levels are maintained.

Daily cooler walkthrough upon start of shift to assess proper product storage, on hold items, Check product/cooler temperatures are adequate for product stored

Ensure applicable product is being hydrocooled and pressure cooled

Conduct shelf-life report 2x a week, proactively report aging of product to sales in a timely manner

Oversee activities of the QA crew provide real time feedback to growers if needed, ideally on site, otherwise compose group text to provide feedback

Take pictures of product being delivered to show all aspects of quality and document product quality using internal reporting template

Ensure the crew follows attendance, break and lunch schedules as posted.

Resolve inventory discrepancies working with Grower Sales teams.

Maintain daily communication with Grower Sales team to ensure products and services have been met.

Maintain cycle counts as needed to resolve Receiving discrepancies.

Monitor email and radio communications within the department.

Responsible for conveying maintenance of forklift and pallet jack equipment, providing both preventive maintenance programs and all necessary repairs to the Maintenance Dept. Ensures that the warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment to perform the receiving functions.

Work in tandem with operations in warehouse safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of OSHA local and state regulations.

Recommends equipment requirements and replacement to the Facilities Director to upgrade and maintain warehouse productivity and efficiency.

Responsible for accurate and timely payroll approvals, manage department overtime.

Lead by example should be able to perform the jobs and fill in when necessary.

Managing a fast-paced operation and utilizing operational systems.

It does require a base knowledge of the job requirements of the employees they would supervise, that include Receivers, Hydro Cooling Receivers and QA.

Peripheral Duties: Projects and tasks as assigned by the OPS and QA departments.

Qualifications:
Desired Minimum Qualifications:

3 years of Receiving and or Inventory Control experience.

2 years of customer service experience preferred.

1 year forklift experience preferred.

Must be able to identify produce quality, count and have basic math skills.

Ability to motivate and lead a team in daily tasks.

Self-motivated to complete daily tasks with minimal supervision and multi-task

Must have excellent organization skills and be detail oriented.

Ability to work well with others by building cooperative working relationships with other departments.

Basic computer skills in Excel/Word/Outlook

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs frequently and work in a refrigerated warehouse.

Must be able to work overtime when business requires, i.e. busy seasons, vacation coverage, etc.

Must have sensory capabilities to avoid accidents as warehouse environment involves fast moving forklift and power jack equipment.

Supplemental Information

Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
